Ona and her family came all the way from Newport to see me again, and it was wonderful to have them in the studio. It’s great that they are willing to travel a ways to visit their Eugene, Oregon photographer , and I always love to see this adorable girl and her family. This is the third time Ona has been to see me in her first year, so I feel remarkably lucky to watch this little sweetheart grow up. This latest time was a one-year birthday cake smash photography session and it went really well. I am sure you will enjoy the pictures of her celebration!

Erin, Joe, and big sister Brynlee brought in sweet Aubree for her newborn photography session last month. What a sweet family! Aubree is such a precious little girl and was happy to just sleep for me while we arranged props and backdrops, bundled her in and out of one cute costume after another, and positioned her in just the right poses for each shot. I hope you enjoy the photos from her visit with me!

This year I held my spring mini photography sessions in beautiful, blooming Hendricks Park. This is one of those gems that Eugene, Oregon photographers like myself absolutely love. It's tucked away near the University of Oregon campus and is well worth a trip out there in in April and May. I actually did schedule all of these sessions for April originally, but we got rained out the first night so we had to reschedule, and a few of them ended up being moved to early May. Surprisingly though, for famously damp Eugene, this is only the second time in almost six years that I've had to reschedule because of weather. All things considered, I think I've been very lucky!

Kristen brought in her two adorable children, Brytnee and Liam, for some updated photos last month, and we had a wonderful time together. We specifically did this session as a six month baby photography session for Liam, since he is the one who has grown and changed so much over the last little while. It’s amazing how fast babies grow, and it’s hard to keep up with all the changes in those early months. An annual photo shoot is great normally—but it’s nowhere near enough for these little ones. We made sure to get plenty of pictures of everyone, but Liam was the star of our show and I think he knew it!   

The three months since I last saw twins Kellyn and Quinn have flown by, and I was delighted to see them on my schedule again. They came in about a month ago for their three month milestone photography session, and it was so fun to see them again. They are a pair of cuties for sure! I feel like I’m going to get to know them so well, since I’ve been their baby photographer since—well, since before they were born really, with Betty Lou’s maternity session, and I get to continue to see them every three months through their first year of life!

I loved meeting this family! Normally when I photograph younger kiddos I’ve already known them since they were newborns, but this was the first time I met Benji and his parents, Katie and Max. Katie works down the street from my studio and drives past my sign every day, so she decided to look me up for photos. I’m so glad she did! It’s always a pleasure to welcome new faces to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon . 

It was such a pleasure to finally meet Audrey, Mike, big sister Madison, and of course, baby Kennedy. Kennedy was expected to come in mid-April, but she was born about a month early and we had to wait almost until her original due date to get her into the studio for her newborn photography session because she spent twenty-eight days in the NICU getting adjusted to this big new world. She is doing wonderfully now and is absolutely beautiful. 

Do you remember back in March I posted about Heather’s maternity session ? She and Dan were the couple with four gorgeous girls who were finally expecting a boy. Well, guess what? Here he is! Little Enzo came into my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month with his parents and big sisters for his newborn photography session, and we had such a great time together!
