  Ali, Pete, and big sister Hudson brought new baby brother Cameron to my studio about a week before Thanksgiving. Newborn photography is my absolute favorite, so it’s always a pleasure to welcome a tiny new client to the studio. Another reason to give thanks. What a beautiful little family!

Dear clients and potential clients, At Shanna Chess Photography, safety is my main priority at all times, including flu season and during  this pandemic. Because I work closely with vulnerable clients including newborns, small  children and pregnant women, I would like you to know that I am not taking the current  Covid-19 outbreak in Eugene li ghtly. I am sure you have concerns about remaining safe  and healthy at this time, too.

Hope you’re all staying well and healthy! It’s a bit of a crazy time right now, but I’ve loved continuing to see my clients and know that they are happy and thriving. Little miss Hadley came to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio near the middle of November for her six-month mini milestone photography session. I was so excited to see her again!

I did this family photography session in mid-November—which feels so long ago! We had the most beautiful fall last year, with warm sunny days lasting all the way through October, and we were only just starting to think about winter when we took these photos. Now it feels like winter has lasted forever and I’m so ready for spring! I thought it was here a couple of weeks ago, but the weather has turned cold and gray again. Oh, well. Hopefully soon!

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was quite cold and rainy here in Eugene—we even got hail on Saturday—but I’m holding out hope that spring is just around the corner. It can’t get here too soon for me. While you’re waiting the sun to show its face, I hope you’ll enjoy these photos of Blake. He is sure a cutie pie!
