Eugene, Oregon child photographer: Harbor is FOUR!

I can’t believe my sweet niece Harbor is four years old already! Time is going way too fast. Having photographed her since she was a newborn I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that she isn’t a baby anymore—or even a toddler! She is getting to be such a big girl and is absolutely gorgeous. I loved celebrating her fourth birthday with a photo session at my studio just a few days before Christmas.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Logan!

This handsome little man is Logan! I got to do his newborn photography session last month—actually quite a bit earlier than we had planned on. He arrived a full four weeks before his due date! In his case, this may have been a good thing because he was a chunk! His mom, Tawni, brought him in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon when he was three weeks old (still a week before I’d even been expecting him in the world, let alone the studio!) and I have a feeling he was well on his way to nine pounds at that point. You would never know he was a preemie!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: Zalia is ONE!

It was wonderful to see Mia, Brent, and their daughter Zalia again last month! I have gotten to know this family a little bit over the last year or so through my work as a Eugene, Oregon photographer , doing a maternity session for Mia when she was pregnant, and Zalia’s newborn photos when she arrived. Be sure to check out the photos from Mia’s session and Zalia’s session if you missed them!

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Braeya!

I can’t believe how time has flown! I had sweet little Braeya in my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for her baby pictures in the beginning of December, and we’re already in a brand new year! This was a particularly special photo session for me because Braeya is my cousin! Okay, technically she’s my second cousin once removed…I had to look up a chart online to figure that out! She’s my maternal grandpa’s sister’s son’s granddaughter. Phew! An easier way to look at it is that her mom is my second cousin, so Braeya is my second cousin once removed. It was interesting to look it up and see how people figure out those relationships, but honestly, let’s not be silly. As far as I’m concerned, she is my cousin—and an adorable one at that!

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Brady!

I had this sweet little guy in the studio near the end of November for his newborn photography session. What a cutie! When I say Brady was a little guy I mean it—he decided to come into the world a few weeks early, so he was definitely on the small side. Fortunately, despite the change in schedule, he was a totally healthy baby boy and his parents (Lindsay and Preston) and I were able to reschedule and get him into the studio pretty quickly.
