Jennifer and Brian brought new baby Eli to my studio last
month for a mini newborn photography session. What a cute little guy! He
did an awesome job for me and was such a sweetie.
As a Eugene, Oregon photographer, I offer both full
and mini newborn photoshoots. These are both great options to record your
little one’s brand new baby stage—it just depends which one best suits your
needs.
What are the similarities between full and mini newborn photography sessions?
All newborn photography sessions take place at my Eugene,
Oregon photography studio. The studio is conveniently located in SW Eugene,
about five minutes from W 11th Avenue. Regardless of whether you
choose a full or mini session, you’ll have access to all the studio amenities
and can choose from an abundance of professional-quality props, outfits,
backdrops, and accessories.
After either type of photoshoot, we will set up a time for
you to come back to the studio for an ordering session. You’ll get to see all
the final images from your little one’s session and choose which ones to take
home.
What are the differences between full and mini newborn photography sessions?
Full Sessions:
I set aside a 3-hour slot for all of my full newborn photography sessions. The price to book a full session is for my time and talent only, and does not include any prints, digital images, or other products. As well as the fee for my services, an additional minimum purchase of $200 worth of photos applies. A full newborn photoshoot includes 2 props, a fur backdrop, and table posing on 2 fabrics. I offer family and sibling pictures with the new baby as part of my full newborn sessions. I recommend a full session if you have other children or would like to get updated family photos at the same time that you welcome your new little one to the family.Mini Sessions:
Your mini newborn photography session
is all-inclusive. In addition to my time and talent as a professional newborn
photographer you will receive 5 high-resolution digital images as part of
this package, although you are welcome to order more if you wish. I generally get
15-20 images during a mini session, so you will have lots of options to choose
from! Mini newborn sessions include 1 prop instead of 2, a fur backdrop, and
table posing on your choice of 1 fabric. Family and sibling photos are not
offered for this type of photoshoot, so this is a good option if you want your
session to focus solely on baby.
Both full and mini newborn sessions are a wonderful option—it’s
up to you to decide what’s right for your family. If you have questions about
any type of session or would like to book a spot on my schedule, please contact me! I can guarantee that no matter what type of session you choose, you will
end up with beautiful images that you will love and treasure for a lifetime.
