Is anyone else ready for spring? The sun has been peeking
out a little bit the last couple days and I’ve seen a few daffodils in bloom. I
am so looking forward to warmer weather! No matter what the weather is like
though, these pictures should bring a ray of sunshine to your day.
Amanda and Ari welcomed their adorable daughter Noa in early
November and mom brought her to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for
a session shortly afterwards. Big brothers Killian and Asher got to come too,
and it was fun to get some photographs of all the kiddos together. Noa’s
brothers are totally smitten with their baby sister and think she’s the cutest
thing ever. No arguments here! They did such a good job posing for photos
together. I’ll sometimes do composite shots with siblings if big brother or
sister is still too young to hold baby safely, but that wasn’t a problem this
time. Killian and Asher were big enough to safely snuggle little sister, and
will be great helpers for their parents, I’m sure.
We went with a primarily gray and peach color scheme for Noa’s
newborn photography session, with a tiny bit of cream and palest pink
thrown into a few of our shots. Gray worked perfectly for our sibling and
mother-daughter pictures, and the peach is so pretty. It’s one of those colors that
doesn’t get used nearly enough for newborn pictures, in my opinion, so I was
glad mom chose it. Still very feminine, but a nice change from the traditional
pink and white.
Noa was such a cutie! She slept really well and we got to
try a lot of different outfits, setups, and poses. I think my favorite is of
her snuggled into my wooden heart bowl surrounded by beautiful flowers, but it’s
a tough choice! I loved her sweet little lips and toes, and just had to get
some closeup images of those tiny baby details. Noa must have known how cute I
thought her lips were, because she even puckered up for one of our pictures!
I never get tired of doing newborn photography
sessions with these precious little ones. It’s always such a wonderful
experience to meet them and their families. Loved capturing these details and
memories for sweet little Noa and her parents and brothers.
