Eugene, Oregon baby and child photographer: 6-month mini with Hadley!

Hope you’re all staying well and healthy! It’s a bit of a crazy time right now, but I’ve loved continuing to see my clients and know that they are happy and thriving. Little miss Hadley came to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio near the middle of November for her six-month mini milestone photography session. I was so excited to see her again!

It’s hard to believe six months have already gone by since I did her newborn pictures. (She was actually one I wasn’t sure I would be able to squeeze in as a newborn, because we didn’t get her session scheduled until after her birth and it was right in the middle of my busy season. I’m glad we did manage to find an open slot though—not least because it meant I got to see her as a return client for her milestone session!)

Milestone baby and child photography sessions are a great way to capture your child’s development and personality at those significant milestone markers. Some clients choose to schedule milestone sessions every three months throughout baby’s first year, which is always so much fun! Others choose to just focus on the really big ones, like six months or one year. And don’t feel like you have to limit baby and child photography to milestone sessions. Sitter sessions are another fun option. These take place whenever baby starts sitting up on their own, which varies from one child to another. And of course, there’s no bad age to take pictures. I’m delighted to record precious memories of your little one at any stage of life, from newborn to high school senior!

Hadley was so adorable and did such a great job for her session. She gave me the cutest little smiles as a newborn, and she had such cute expressions this time around too. I got some sweet little baby giggles out of her (contagious in the best possible way), and loved watching her face.

We chose to do pink and white for Hadley’s six-month milestone session—the same color scheme we used for her when she was a newborn. We even got to use the same fluffy prop in both sessions! It was so great to see this little sweetheart again. She is an absolute doll!
