Hope you’re all enjoying the last week or two of summer! It has flown by so fast this year. (Who am I kidding? It always does!) Like most of you, I’m currently in back-to-school mode, figuring out schedules and supplies and all the other fun stuff. But none of that was on my radar when I did this maternity photography session back in mid-June! Corrine traveled all the way from North Bend to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon—about five hours away! It’s such a huge compliment to have clients seek me out over those kinds of distances. It really is worth the extra travel time when you find a photographer you love. After all, these pictures are your forever memories—you want to be sure they’re exactly what you want!
One of the things I love to do as a Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer is pamper my clients! As a mom myself, I know that sometimes giving yourself a little TLC can feel kind of low on the priority list, but it is so needed! Just one of the reasons I offer professional hair and makeup with my full maternity photo sessions. This was Corrine’s first time getting professional hair and makeup, so it was extra fun and special for her.
This was also her first time doing a professional photo shoot, and I have to say, she was a natural! She posed beautifully and seemed super comfortable in front of the camera. If you don’t feel like “natural in front of the camera” describes you—don’t worry, I’ve got you! I’ll give you all the direction you need to pose perfectly, feel relaxed and confident, and end up loving your finished images!
Oh, and if you’re swooning over that gorgeous red dress—It is now an option for your maternity photos! Corrine actually brought that dress herself and I loved it so much I went out and bought one of my own to add to my client closet. I’m always on the lookout for maternity gowns of all varieties so my expecting mamas have plenty to choose from with both style and color. (And it’s not just gowns—I have several other maternity outfit options if dresses aren’t really your thing. And of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own outfits from home if you have any you particularly love!)
We also used my pink tulle gown and then did some nude maternity
photography. I love the way our nude photos turned out with the dark
background!
It was so fun to photograph this beautiful mother-to-be. So glad she treated herself to something really special leading up to her new little one’s arrival!
If you’re getting ready to welcome a little one to the
family, I hope you’ll get in touch with me! As a top-rated Eugene, Oregon
maternity photographer, it would be my pleasure to help you record this
special stage of life and create beautiful photos you can treasure forever.
Hoping to see you in the studio very soon!
