Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Studio and Milk Bath with Tiphanie

Tiphanie made the trip up to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio from Grants Pass (which is also my home town!) for these maternity pictures. (I also did her newborn photos a little later, so keep an eye out for those in the next few weeks). It was great to spend some time with her as she was getting ready to welcome her new little one!

Tiphanie had a ton of great ideas for her maternity photography session and knew exactly what she wanted. Almost all of the clothing we used in the session was her own, including a beautiful gold sari. While I love stylizing client sessions for them, it’s also fun when clients have so much vision for their own photos and I just put my own spin on it. It makes for some pictures that are totally unique to that person, and fully incorporates their sense of style. (That being said, don’t worry if you’re more the type of person who prefers to just leave it to the expert. As a professional photographer, I’m happy to give as much or as little input as you like. And I do provide a full client wardrobe, so you’ll have lots of clothing choices whether you bring your own or not.)

A popular option for my maternity photo shoots is to split the session and do the first part in the studio, then finish up with a milk bath. Not only does a milk bath maternity session give you beautiful pregnancy pictures, it also makes you feel like you’ve had the full spa treatment—something all mamas-to-be deserve! That’s what we did for Tiphanie’s photos, and the yellows, pinks, and corals of the flowers looked so pretty!

I had a wonderful time being Tiphanie’s maternity photographer and am so glad I could help bring her vision to life! I’d love to do the same for you, so if you’re expecting, please get in touch with me and let’s chat about how we can best capture this special time in your life!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: Hattie is ONE!

Hattie’s mom, Shanna, brought her in last month for a one year birthday cake smash photography session. Shanna (yes, her name is both spelled and pronounced the same as mine!) wanted to do a strawberry theme to go along with the banner and adorable outfit she had made for Hattie. What a talented lady! Looks like when it comes to the sewing machine she is a force to be reckoned with! Both the outfit and the banner were so cute and I was more than willing to figure out something a little different to match.

Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Milk bath with Kelsey

Kelsey came in for a milk bath maternity photography session last month. She was expecting a little boy in early November. Needless to say, he is here now! I did his Fresh 48 photos in the hospital shortly after he was born, and will be doing his newborn photos as well. He’s such a sweetheart! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog   for his pictures!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 6-month milestone session with Lily

Oh my goodness, you are going to love the photos of this sweet baby girl! What an angel face! Audrey and Daniel brought Lily to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio at the end of March for her 6-month milestone photography session. Most of the 6-month-olds I photograph are little ones I took pictures of as newborns, but Lily and her parents were first-time clients. It was wonderful to meet them. And we had so much fun together! I usually set aside an hour for milestone sessions, but I very rarely use the whole time with 6-month-olds because they tend to get tired by about the 40 minute mark. Not Lily! She was sweet-faced and smiley the entire hour. I didn’t even want to stop at that point because we were having such a good time. And honestly, she was probably one of the most gorgeous, photogenic babies I’ve ever photographed. She seriously has the most perfect little face! She loved the camera, and the camera definitely loved her! Because Lily was so happy and cooperative, we go...
