Eugene Oregon Twin Newborn Photographer: Welcome Kash and Kenadee!

I’m so excited to share the photos from this twins newborn photography session! Corina and Joshua brought their new bundles of joy—a boy and a girl—to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for pictures. Kenadee and Kash were absolutely adorable!

Newborn photography with twins is always so much fun! For reasons of both safety and convenience, I have an assistant lend an extra hand when there are two babies. This ensures that both little ones are totally safe, secure, and comfortable through the entire process.

Although my full newborn photo sessions come with the option of doing parent/sibling pictures, mom and dad wanted to just focus on the babies and not do any family images. Corina also told me she’s not a big fan of hats and headbands, so we kept it pretty simple.

When it comes to color schemes for twins newborn photography, there are a ton of options—especially when you have a brother and sister! Dressing baby boy in blue and baby girl in pink is a popular choice, as is choosing gender neutral colors like green or yellow. For Kash and Kenadee we did almost exclusively neutral colors like white and gray. We did add a splash of yellow, and of course our Ducks sports team outfits! (If you need more inspiration on colors and setups for boy and girl twins, be sure to check out this session with big sister and parents, this one with big brother and parents, and this one where we incorporated some of mom and dad’s first responder equipment.)

Loved being the Eugene, Oregon twin newborn photographer for this sweet little duo!

No matter how many little ones you’re welcoming to the family, I’d love to welcome them to the studio! Let’s get you on the schedule so we can record those memories!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: Hattie is ONE!

Hattie’s mom, Shanna, brought her in last month for a one year birthday cake smash photography session. Shanna (yes, her name is both spelled and pronounced the same as mine!) wanted to do a strawberry theme to go along with the banner and adorable outfit she had made for Hattie. What a talented lady! Looks like when it comes to the sewing machine she is a force to be reckoned with! Both the outfit and the banner were so cute and I was more than willing to figure out something a little different to match.

Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Milk bath with Kelsey

Kelsey came in for a milk bath maternity photography session last month. She was expecting a little boy in early November. Needless to say, he is here now! I did his Fresh 48 photos in the hospital shortly after he was born, and will be doing his newborn photos as well. He’s such a sweetheart! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog   for his pictures!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 6-month milestone session with Lily

Oh my goodness, you are going to love the photos of this sweet baby girl! What an angel face! Audrey and Daniel brought Lily to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio at the end of March for her 6-month milestone photography session. Most of the 6-month-olds I photograph are little ones I took pictures of as newborns, but Lily and her parents were first-time clients. It was wonderful to meet them. And we had so much fun together! I usually set aside an hour for milestone sessions, but I very rarely use the whole time with 6-month-olds because they tend to get tired by about the 40 minute mark. Not Lily! She was sweet-faced and smiley the entire hour. I didn’t even want to stop at that point because we were having such a good time. And honestly, she was probably one of the most gorgeous, photogenic babies I’ve ever photographed. She seriously has the most perfect little face! She loved the camera, and the camera definitely loved her! Because Lily was so happy and cooperative, we go...
