I had such a fun maternity photography session earlier this month with Shawna and Eric. What a great couple! They are expecting their baby girl, Teagan, pretty much any second now, and are so excited for this chapter of their lives together. I am so excited for them, and can’t wait to meet their precious little one. She should be in the studio by mid-May at the very latest for her newborn photos, and I am counting down the days! It’s pretty obvious from seeing her parents that she is going to be a real cutie. 

Josh and Dana brought their adorable son, Austin, in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon about a month ago for his newborn photography session. Josh (Cooley) was our realtor when my husband and I sold our last home a couple of years ago (a great decision, as our new property had enough room for me to finally open my very own studio), and Josh told me back then that when his wife got pregnant they would for sure be booking with me. I’ve been looking forward to it for a while now and was so excited when they contacted me!

Thea’s mom brought her back to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon for a mini milestone session. It has been about eight months since I last saw this sweet girl, when she was just a newborn, and although she is growing up so fast, you can definitely still see some of the same characteristic features she had when she was a brand new infant: including that amazing dark hair! Brittanie and Colby welcomed their new son in early March, and I was so glad to see them in the studio a couple of weeks later! I did Brittanie’s maternity session before baby’s arrival, and I’ve been looking forward to meeting him ever since. He was totally worth the wait. Little Knox was one of the cutest babies I’ve photographed: he was just a little ball and so squishy! It was impossible not to fall completely in love with him. We got lots of great photographs during this newborn photography session and I’m so excited to share them with all of you! They turned out great. 

Samantha brought her adorable son Jayden in to the studio last month for his three year milestone photography session. I started photographing Jayden as a newborn and again when he was six months old, and I have been doing yearly sessions with him around his birthday ever since. He is such a fun little guy, and I was so glad to see him and his mom in the studio again. One of the best things about being a Eugene, Oregon photographer is the opportunity to get to know local people and see them in the studio multiple times as their families grow. I love the sense of community it brings. It’s been great to see Jayden grow up over the past few years!

Hahn and John brought their sweet infant son in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon about a month ago to do his newborn photography session. What a sweetheart! Little Parker was born a few weeks early and was such an itty bitty guy. He was great for his session though—sleepy and relaxed—and his mom and dad are obviously doing a wonderful job of taking care of their precious preemie. He is totally healthy, clearly happy, and getting bigger and stronger by the day! I hope you enjoy his photos!

Andrea, Shannon, and big brother Jensen brought sweet little Felicity in to the studio in March for a newborn photography session. I’ve been photographing this family for quite a while now, and have done Jensen’s newborn, six-month, and one-year photography sessions, as well as Andrea’s maternity session back in February in expectation of Felicity’s arrival. It was wonderful to see this family again and to get so many great shots of this beautiful baby girl!

Sarah brought her sweet son Donovan in for a mini birthday cake smash photography session early last month. It was great to see both of them again! I did Donovan’s newborn session last year with his entire family, and it was a wonderful and tender time, especially as Sarah and her husband had lost a baby about a year before Donovan’s birth, so Donovan’s arrival was a time of great excitement and deep feelings. Because of the special experiences I’ve shared with her as a Eugene, Oregon photographer , Sarah is one of my favorite clients, and Donovan is so near and dear to my heart also, so this session, although short, was a real treat for me.
