Cameron was such a handsome little guy! He had the most amazing
hair, and perfect lips and cheeks. I had so much fun with him! He looked great
whether he was swaddled, dressed in one of the adorable outfits my studio
offers, or rocking a cowboy hat.
Hudson was just a little shy of four years old at the time
of this session. She did a wonderful job holding and cuddling her baby brother.
Parent and sibling photos are always an option during a full newborn
photography session, and it’s fun when clients take me up on that. The age
of a new baby’s siblings often dictates what method I use for posing. Reclining
poses like this one with Miss Hudson and little Cameron are often a great
option, as they allow big brother or sister to safely cuddle “their” baby. (It’s
cute how many older siblings claim the baby as their own personal property!)
With younger kiddos I frequently use the magic of photo editing to create a composite
image: photos of baby and sibling are taken separately, then edited together
later.
Feel free to ask me if you have questions regarding baby and
sibling poses. Safety is always my first priority with newborns, but there are
several options for getting beautiful photos of your children together, no
matter what their ages.
It was truly a pleasure to work with this sweet family. I
feel so fortunate that my work as a newborn photographer allows me to
get to know many of the fantastic people living in this area. It’s an honor to
be entrusted with recording these precious memories of babies and families.
