Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Wyatt!

You know how I was saying a few weeks ago that I couldn’t wait for summer? Well, it took its time coming, but it’s here now with a vengeance! These hot days are just crazy. I’m not complaining though. Summer doesn’t tend to last too long here in Eugene, so I’ll take all the sunshine I can get before the rain sets in again.

Little Wyatt came to the studio in the middle of June, about a month before summer really got its boots on. He was so adorable and I can’t wait to share a few of his photos with you. You’re going to love them!

The whole family was able to join us for this newborn photography session: Parents Brittany and Andy, and big sister Kylie all wanted to be in on the fun. It’s great when the whole family can be there for baby pictures. It’s the perfect time to get an updated family shot showcasing the newly expanded clan, and sibling with newborn pictures are the best!

Speaking of which, yes—we definitely got some great pictures of Kylie and her new baby brother. She did an awesome job cuddling with him and I can’t get over her blonde curls and big eyes. They sure make a cute pair.

Wyatt was an absolute dream as well. Such a handsome little guy and a total pro at sleeping! He was nice and curly so we managed to get all the best newborn poses with barely an effort.

I also love the colors mom and dad picked out. Yes, navy and gray is a classic for baby boys and you can’t go wrong with it—but as a newborn photographer, I’ll admit, I really enjoy it when I get some variety to work with. Andy and Brittany went with cream and white for their neutrals, and olive green for the main accent color. It looks so good! Wyatt has that warm golden skin tone that really makes olive look amazing. It’s a color I hardly ever get to use—especially in newborn photography—but I think I may have stumbled on a new favorite.
