Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 100 days with Ethan!

Yingfei and her parents brought Ethan to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio last month to celebrate him turning 100 days old. While newborn and quarterly sessions for the first year of life are popular in Western culture, 100 days is a common milestone for families of Asian heritage. This has its origins in the fact that, traditionally, mom and baby stay at home for the first hundred days after baby’s birth. Not all families adhere strictly to that time these days, but a baby photography session around the hundred day mark is still a very popular option for many families.

Eugene, Oregon baby and child photographer: Merida is ONE!

Merida came to the studio with her parents Ashley and Erik for a one-year birthday cake smash. I photographed this little one as a newborn so it was wonderful to have her back for another baby photography session.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Alivia!

Loren brought her adorable new daughter Alivia into the studio about a month ago for a newborn photography session. Miss Alivia is so cute! She has such round cheeks and the sweetest little dimpled chin.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Hadley!

I had so much fun photographing this cute little one! Hadley’s mom (Jena) brought her into my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for newborn pictures last month and it ended up being a great session. Enjoy the photos!

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Bowen!

Brandi Jo and Nathan brought their three children to the studio last month for a newborn photography session for the newest addition to the family. Baby Bowen is too cute!

Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Brittanie and Family

I love that Brittanie and Colby enjoy traveling for maternity photography sessions! When Brittanie was pregnant with their first son, Knox, we traveled to Odell Lake near the Willamette Pass. It was winter and snowy—cold, but absolutely gorgeous. If you’re at all interested in unique outdoor maternity photographs—or if you just like looking at pretty pictures—you should definitely check out the images from our first session . This time, since they’re expecting another baby boy this summer, we decided to contrast our earlier snow session with a shoot on the beach! Totally different feel, but just as pretty. We met at the Heceta Head Lighthouse in Florence, a little over an hour from my  Eugene, Oregon photography studio . The Oregon coast is so scenic, and a stunning place to do pictures. It was windy, but a beautiful evening, complete with an amazing sunset.

Eugene, Oregon twin newborn photographer: Welcome Jackson and Jude!

Jackie, Timothy, and big sister Gemma brought in new twin boys Jackson and Jude last month for a twin newborn photography session. They were full-term little guys, which is somewhat unusual. Twins frequently come early, and sometimes have to spend a little bit of time in the NICU to make sure everything is good, but these boys arrived right on time and as healthy as could be.
