I did this maternity photography session last month with Betty Lou, her husband Shawn, and their daughter Josie. Betty is a firefighter and Shawn is a policeman, and they are expecting twins—a boy and a girl—in January. I can’t wait to meet them! I have several sessions scheduled with the new babies when they arrive: Fresh 48, newborn, and then milestone sessions every three months through their first year. It’s going to be wonderful to have them in the studio so often and to watch them grow through that exciting and eventful first year of life. 

I hope everyone had a healthy, happy, and fun-filled holiday season! I had a wonderful time being with my family and enjoying the traditions and festivities. This is always a busy time of year, but the excitement on my kiddos’ faces on Christmas morning makes it all worth it. It’s fun to make the magic happen. I also love the beautiful decorations and festive props I get to use in my photography sessions as a Eugene, Oregon photographer .   Last month, although I did lots of holiday-themed photo shoots, I was also able to do some season-neutral newborn photography and family photography . One of these sessions was for this sweet little boy, Dane. He is such a cute baby and I had a great time doing this photography session with him and his parents and older sisters. I first photographed this family for Briella’s newborn pictures, when Evie was just a couple years old. They are still as adorable as I remember them, and I loved being able to see what beautiful girls they are

I had so much fun last month photographing this sweet family! Mike, Cassandra, and their two adorable children, Jackson and Grace, came into my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon in November for a family photography session, and we had a great time. I’ve been a Eugene, Oregon photographer for some years now, and part of what I love about being established in business here is the opportunity I have to see and photograph so many familiar faces! I have been working with this family for a few years now, and they are a joy! I always love to have them in my studio. 

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and getting ready for Christmas! I did my Christmas minis last month in preparation for the many Christmas cards and holiday greetings that are sent out at this time of year, and the sessions went really well.

It was so fun to see this great family again! You may remember them from the Father’s Day family photography session I did with them back in June. We got some great pictures, so if you missed them, be sure to check them out here . We went to one of the covered bridges in southern Oregon and had lots of fun incorporating their passion for motorcycles into the photos.  This time around, Christina, Jesse, and their two children Lily and Theo came into my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon for a combination session of holiday family photographs with everybody and first birthday cake smash photos with just Theo. 

I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done a maternity photography session, so I’m glad I get to share these photos with you. They turned out so well! I had a beautiful subject, an amazing location, and even cooperative weather. I hope you enjoy the vibrant colors of these photos—as well as a glimpse of sunshine. With all the foggy weather we’ve been having I think we all need to be reminded that the sun is still out there somewhere!

Now that it’s December ‘tis the season for Christmas-themed family photography sessions! Amber, Grant, and their daughter Goldie wanted a fun, Christmasy session, so that’s exactly what we did. I think these photos will make awesome holiday greeting cards. I know I would love to receive such a lighthearted picture in the mail to commemorate the season!  

I can’t wait for all of you to meet Braylon! Are you wondering why? Just take a look at his photos and you’ll see that all explanations are unnecessary.  Kara and Eddie brought their sweet little boy in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon near the end of October for his newborn photography session and I had a blast taking pictures of him! He was such a good baby, super photogenic—and that hair! Need I say more? 

I can’t believe it’s December already! Christmas is right around the corner and has managed to sneak up on me yet again. How it manages to surprise me annually when it happens at the same time every year is a mystery to me—but surprise me it does! With the weather getting colder and the hectic holiday season upon us, I hope taking the time to look at the pictures of this sweet little girl will warm you right up!
