Eugene and Springfield, Oregon Newborn Photographer: Welcome Harbor!

SHE's here!  Yes, she is a girl :)  I like to say I was totally right--ever since my sister told me she was pregnant, I had a feeling it was a girl.  But to be honest, I really had no idea.  It was just a guess and a gut feeling.  But she's here and beautiful and healthy and has amazing hair :)  She was great during her session!  We got so many setups and since she is my niece, we did some more a few days later too.  Of course we had to do a airplane setup since my brother-in-law is a pilot.  And we also incorporated some special items to represent the special angels she has watching over her.  Harbor's middle name is Elizabeth after her daddy's grandma.  We took some pictures of her holding a heart necklace that was her's.  Also, her grandpa was a crab fisherman so we did a cute setup with a stuffed crab.  And with her name and with my sister and her husband being from "The Harbor" I finally got to use my beach backdrop with a newborn :)  Enjoy!

Eugene and Springfield, Oregon Newborn Photographer: Welcome Liam!

This session was such a joy for me :)  Not only is Liam's mommy one of my really good friends, but he gave us all a big scare with his early arrival!  Thankfully him and his mama are both doing fantastic.  And he slept like a dream!  I pretty much never saw his little eyes :)   We got all the setups mama, papa and I wanted, and then some!  Mom was a Zookeeper in a previous life so we incorporated lots of cute animals in this session.  Enjoy :)

Eugene and Springfield, Oregon Maternity Photographer: Lindsey in Lace

Ever since finding out my baby sister was pregnant earlier last year, I knew I would want her to model one of my maternity gowns.  I purchased two gowns and wanted one modeled outdoors and one in the studio to show potential clients an idea of how their photos would turn out with the gowns during their maternity sessions with me.  Since my sister was due in the Winter, I had a different model wear one gown outdoors back in September (see her blog post here ).  And I saved my white lace gown for Lindsey to wear in the studio.  And I have to say:  DROP.DEAD.GORGOUS!  I really wanted to try out a new backlighting technique I was learning about--also called "dream lighting," so I thought it would be perfect with the gown.
