Ashley and Danny brought their sweet baby girl, Emma, to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month for a session. As I mentioned in a previous post, I was lucky enough to have two newborn baby girls to do pictures for that day, which kept me very busy—in the best possible way! I always love welcoming these adorable little visitors, and enjoy every minute I get to spend with them. I can’t think of a better to wrap up a month than with back to back baby bookings!

Sophia booked me quite a while ago in anticipation of her daughter’s birth to schedule a mini newborn photography session, and late last month it was finally time! I was so excited to meet little Olivia, and she surpassed all my expectations by a mile. Wow, was she ever a doll! This little peanut is just the cutest, and she has the most amazing hair in the world! It’s so soft, and it fluffed up all over her head like baby bird feathers at the slightest touch of my hand. I fell in love instantly, and I have no doubt you will too!

Do you guys remember sweet Paizleigh? I did her newborn pictures almost a year ago, but you can be forgiven for not recognizing her—she has grown up so much! Her mama, Dezirae, brought her to one of my favorite fields in town, Willow Creek, for her one year baby photography session, and we had the best time! This was a mini session, so we kept it short and sweet, but we got some absolutely beautiful photos and I loved the unique look of a birthday photography session done outdoors. I usually do these types of sessions in the studio, so it was fun to try something a little different and it turned out really well. 

Isn’t Declan a sweetheart? His parents, Alexis and Robert, brought him in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month for baby pictures, and I loved getting to meet him! He is such a handsome fella and was a great little sleeper and a wonderful sport for me. We got so many beautiful pictures!

It was great to get together with Josh, Annabelle, and their two adorable daughters, Annalise and Thea, last month for a photo shoot of the girls. I have been photographing pretty regularly for this family since Annalise was a newborn, and it has been a delight to be a part of their lives. They are such nice people, and their girls are just the cutest!

I got to have sweet Amira in the studio last month for a baby photography mini milestone session. Amira is three months old now and such a cutie! Her parents, Nakkia and Jesse, made the drive all the way from Toledo and Albany (a drive of three hours and one hour, respectively, from my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon ). Talk about dedication! I’m so glad they were able to make it and think it’s great that they both wanted pictures together with their daughter and were willing to put forward that extra effort to make it happen. Amira is lucky to have such an amazing mom and dad who both love her to pieces!

Cori and Toby brought in baby number three last month for his newborn photography session! Little Lennon is the third newborn I have photographed for this wonderful family, which is a new milestone in my career as a Eugene, Oregon photographer , so it was extra special to have them in the studio this time. Older siblings Harrison and Holland came as well, and it was so fun to see them again!

Jennifer and David booked a mini newborn photography session for their sweet daughter, Rylie, and I got to welcome them to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month for pictures. Oh my goodness! Little Rylie is such a sweetheart, and she has the most adorable, pouty mouth I think I’ve ever seen. So cute! She posed beautifully for me and we got so many great shots! I am sure you’ll enjoy them—I just wish I could share them all with you!

Thea came in last month with her parents, Annabelle and Josh, for a cake smash mini photography session. It’s been a few months since I last saw Thea—aside from her newborn pictures, I also did an eight-month mini session with her in early spring of this year. She still has the amazingly thick, dark hair she was born with, sweet chubby cheeks, and a fun-loving personality. Mom tied her hair back this time to try to keep it out of her face (and out of the frosting!) With that much hair it tends to get a little out of control sometimes, and I remember it was always falling into her eyes when I did her eight-month pictures, although she didn’t seem to mind.

I got to welcome little Julia to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month for a newborn photography session. What a sweetheart! She came in with her parents, Elyse and Mike, and her big sister Jayne, who I photographed as a newborn and when she turned one year old. It was fantastic to see this family again! When I saw Jayne I could hardly believe it—she has gotten so big! I guess I should have expected it, since it’s been over a year since I last saw her in the studio, but somehow kiddos always stay the same in our mind’s eye…until we see them with our physical eyes and realize with a shock that they are growing up! She is a beautiful girl and is doing great in her new role as big sister. 

Guess who I got to welcome back to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon ? That’s right! Kellyn and Quinn are growing up so fast and in July it was time for their six month mini milestone session. I have been the baby photographer for these cuties since they arrived: I photographed these sweet twins a couple of times shortly after their birth and have seen them every three months since—which I love! It’s great to see their little milestones as they develop and to capture that action-packed first year of life. 

Skylar brought in her adorable son, Duke, for his newborn photography session last month. I posted pictures of Skylar’s maternity session on the blog recently, and you may remember me mentioning in that post that Duke decided to surprise us all and come early—just a little over a week after we had gotten his mama’s pictures done! Despite the fact that he decided to arrive about a month ahead of schedule, he didn’t look like a preemie at all and was an average size for a newborn. I guess he just knew he was ready! We got some great pictures of this handsome little man and I hope you enjoy them!

I had so much fun with McKenzie and her parents during this one year mini milestone session! Her mom and dad, Ryan and Brittany, brought her in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon near the middle of last month to record the big one year mark. I photographed little miss McKenzie when she was a newborn, (you can check out the pictures from her newborn session here if you want to see how much she’s changed) so it was wonderful to see her again and see how she’s getting along. This little sweetie was a preemie, born nine weeks ahead of schedule, so it was great to see how well she’s doing a year later and how much she’s grown! Despite her early start in the world, she has caught up in size with a typical one year old, and you would never know she had to spend the first part of her life in the NICU.
