I hope you’ll all join me in wishing a very happy birthday to Nikalina—who just turned one year old!

Oh my goodness! We have another set of twins! If things carry on at this rate I’m going to be a pro at this twin newborn photography thing in no time flat. These two beautiful little girls, Eloise and Evangeline, came into my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month with mommy, daddy, and big sister Cordelia. It was so much fun to photograph them! I did Amy’s maternity session back in August (you can check out the photos here ) so it was wonderful to see her family again—and to see how much it’s grown!

I can’t believe another six months has gone by since I had little Aiden in front of my camera! He is getting to be such a big boy but is still every bit as cute as I remembered him. I had a great time photographing him during this one year mini session. I know you won’t be able to have quite as much fun viewing the photos as I did taking them, since you won’t have Aiden there in person with you, but I’m sure you will enjoy them.

This stunning young lady is Maya, and I can’t wait for all of you to meet her! She is absolutely beautiful, as you can see, so needless to say, we got some fantastic photos. I hope you like them as much as I do!

This sweet baby girl is McKenzie. She had a bit of an early start in this world, which made things tough on her and her family, but I’m happy to report that she is doing great now and after some special care and attention from NICU she was able to come into the studio with her mom and dad for her newborn photography session. 

This precious little girl is Madelyn, and I am so excited to share her photos with you! I’m very pleased with the way they turned out, and I think you’ll like them too. 

Is it a boy? Is it a girl? No, it’s both! I am so excited to introduce you to these adorable twins! Cameron and Makenzi are so cute and I had a great time photographing them. I haven’t done many twin photography sessions before, and they are even more work than a singleton baby, but so rewarding, and I love the challenge!

Justin and Ellie are close friends of my family who brought in their oldest son Cooper along with their new baby boy, Grayson, for a newborn photography session. Justin is my oldest daughter’s godfather, so our families have spent lots of time together. I photographed Justin and Ellie when they were pregnant with Cooper, and also did Cooper’s newborn and one-year photos. During his one-year photo shoot we also got a picture to announce the pregnancy with Grayson, who has finally arrived!

Please join me in welcoming baby Thea to the blog! Josh and Annabelle brought sweet Thea in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon along with big sister Annalise for Thea’s newborn photography session. I have been photographing this family since Annalise was a newborn, so it was wonderful to reconnect and celebrate Thea’s arrival with them. I’ve been looking forward to it for several months!

I did this maternity photography session in September with Samantha and Andrew, who are expecting their baby girl early this month. It was a beautiful evening and we got some great shots that I’m excited to share with you! Samantha and I know each other through the Junior League of Eugene (a local women’s organization devoted to improving the community and serving youth, women, and families.) We are both members of this great volunteer organization and so have worked together on community projects several times. I was so excited to hear that she was expecting, and absolutely thrilled when Samantha and Andrew asked me to document their journey of parenthood through photography. Not only was I able to do this maternity photography session with them, but I will also be doing their daughter’s newborn and one year photos as well. I can hardly wait! 

I got to see Matthew in the studio again last month for a baby photography session—his one year birthday cake smash. His parents, Ashley and Daniel, brought him in, and we had a great time together. Since I photographed Matthew as a newborn it was fun for me to see how much he had grown.  This cake smash was a mini session, which is only available to clients who did a full newborn session with me. It’s a great way to capture a handful of images at a milestone event. I often think of mini sessions like this one as encapsulating a particular moment. In this case, the moment was a one-year-old boy enjoying all the glories of sugar!
