I hope everyone has been able to soak up a few of the rays of sunshine we’ve had this week! Spring is in the air here in Eugene, and I have to admit, it is making me antsy for summertime and glorious heat. Spring comes with its own special pleasures though, including bright daffodils (which seem to be springing up in everyone’s yard), mild weather, and new life. One of my favorite things about spring is all the lambs and calves in the fields, and the irresistibly cute ducklings trailing after mama duck along the many waterways of the city. And speaking of new life:

Jessica and Terran brought in their adorable new son, Tyson, about a month ago for his newborn photography session. He is such a little cutie and was amazing for me as a photography subject. I’m so excited to share his pictures with you!

This was such a fun maternity photography session, and I can’t wait to share the photos with you! Heather and Daniel are expecting a boy any day now (I’m hoping to see him in the studio sometime early next month) after four girls. Although I’m sure dad loves to be surrounded by all these gorgeous girls, he also has to be thrilled that he finally gets a little guy in his life, and the girls are obviously excited to welcome their new baby brother.

Happy birthday, Eric! This little guy is one year old now, and came in last month with his mom, Kim, and big brother Tyler for his one year photos. Eric’s dad, JD, had to work on the day we were scheduled to do this one year birthday photography session, which was too bad, but we still had a great time and got some good family photos with Eric and his mom and big bro. 

I am a little late getting this session posted to the blog. We did Andrea’s maternity photography session early February, and her little girl, Felicity, has actually already arrived and I’ve completed her newborn photographs. But Andrea had to cancel her maternity ordering session as she was being induced and Felicity was born about a month early. Before sharing any photos on the blog I wanted to be sure Andrea had a chance to see them. At long last however, I’m in a position to share these beautiful maternity photographs with all of you! I hope you enjoy them. 

Aiden came to see me again last month for his six month mini baby photography session. I love seeing him every three months! It’s great to see how he’s doing, to see all the changes as he grows, and to snap a few shots as a record of this precious time. I also enjoy catching up with his parents, Andy and Ashley. They’re such nice people and so happy to have Aiden in their lives. It’s fun to hear about their parenting adventures! Since this was a mini session, we only got a small selection of photographs, but Aiden made every single one unique and special. Enjoy!

I was excited to see Violet again—this time for her one-year birthday session, complete with cake smash! The last time I had this cutie in my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon was for her newborn session , so it was wonderful to see how much she’s grown and changed in the short span of a year.
