Guess who just turned one year old? That’s right—it’s Isabel!
It was so fun to see this sweetie again! I did her newborn pictures and six-month milestone photos, and it was a real treat to do her one-year baby
photography session earlier this month. Although I’m a Eugene, Oregon
photographer and her family lives about an hour away in Florence, I love that
they make time to drive over regularly for updated baby pictures.
John (Isabel’s daddy), unfortunately wasn’t able to make it
to this session, but Grandma and Grandpa were able to come, which was
wonderful. These are Brooke’s (Isabel mom’s) parents. They told me they moved to
Florence not long ago in order to be closer to family. It must be so nice to
live close to family that like. They love getting to spend lots of time with
Miss Isabel and being able to watch her grow. And she’s so lucky to have her
grandparents right there all the time!
Grandma and Grandpa being there meant that we could get some
generational photos, which are always so much fun! We got some really sweet
family pictures with all three generations. Don’t they look great together?
Isabel is such a cutie, and an absolutely beautiful baby.
Seriously, she could be a model. Perfect hair, soft round eyes, gorgeous skin—and
a smile that could melt your heart! She did such a great job for me during this
baby and child photography session. Last time she was at the studio for
her six-month pictures, she was cooperative, but not super smiley. This time
she seemed much more comfortable and happy to pose for me. Being able to play
with blocks probably helped! It’s such a lot of fun getting to know these
little people and seeing their personalities blossom.
We did a fall setup with pumpkin and leaves for some of our
photos, in honor of the season, but stuck mostly to light grays, pinks, and
greens. Isabel looks so pretty in those really soft colors. Mom has a great eye
and always picks out the best shades for her.
It was wonderful to have Isabel, her mom, and her
grandparents in my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for pictures. Being
a baby and child photographer is tons of fun and always an adventure. It’s
truly a pleasure to capture these special milestones and memories for little
ones and their families.
