Everyone, please join me in saying hello to Jade! Is it just me, or do we seem to have had several little ones lately who just couldn’t wait the full nine months before getting started in the world? Well, Jade has joined their ranks. This little guy decided eight months was plenty of time for mom and dad to get ready, and arrived on the scene a month before his due date. Despite his early arrival, Jade still managed to be a good-sized, chunky baby with amazing rolls!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. As a newborn photographer I get to celebrate new life almost every day, and since that’s so much of what Easter is about I think it’s an extra special holiday. Speaking of which, I also have an extra special little boy for all of you to meet. Please join me in welcoming Carter to the blog! Isn’t he a sweetheart?

I am so excited to welcome Eric to the blog!

Kristina is one! Kristina and her family were new to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon , and it was so wonderful to meet them for the first time in early March of this year. They are such a sweet family! As a baby and child photographer , it’s always interesting to see the reactions of different kiddos to the idea of a photo shoot. I never quite know what they’re going to think of me. Kristina needed a little time to warm up. She didn’t seem to know what to make of the strange lady who kept sticking a camera in her face! Who can blame her, right? She got used to the attentions of the paparazzi pretty quickly though, and we were able to get a lot of really cute shots, as you can see. I hope you enjoy them!

Please welcome Braelynn! Is it permissible to refer to a baby as an adorable little squish bean? You know what? I’m going to step out on a limb and do it. This little girl is seriously the most adorable little squish bean I have ever met in my life! She was so soft and cuddly and had the cutest little round cheeks that were perfectly designed for kissing. She is absolutely irresistible.
