Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Landry

Say hello to Landry!

Isn’t she such a cutie pie? She has the most angelic face. This darling baby girl came in with her mom, dad, and big brother at the beginning of February for a newborn photography session. I photographed Landry’s big brother, Jackson, about two years ago when he was a newborn, so it was great to see him again and to help mom and dad welcome the newest little one into their family. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Their whole family is looking so good. I have to say, they have some of the cutest kids I have ever seen. Jackson is still just as adorable as he was when he was a brand new baby, with his wonderfully crazy hair (a trait Landry shares) and big brown eyes. He is absolutely smitten with his new little sister—and it’s easy to see why. She is a real sweetheart! Jackson takes great care of her and it is so sweet to see him embracing his role as older brother. He’s going to be a big help to his mom and dad. I love this picture of him and Landry together.

Landry’s mom and dad chose a Native American tribal theme for her nursery, so we made sure to incorporate that by getting a shot of her napping in a cute little tepee set up just for her. It’s the perfect size for curling up with a blanket and drifting off to dreamland—which, as you can see, is exactly what Landry decided to do! Sweet dreams, little one.

We decided on a very muted color theme for Landry’s session. The gray-blue, soft pink, and cream went together beautifully and gave all the pictures such a harmonious, soothing effect. Makes me feel relaxed just looking at it. Landry has such a pretty skin tone too, and the gentle colors really seem to make her glow.

Take a look at the middle picture below and you can see for yourself what a beautiful family they are. I always like to get individual mother-baby and daddy-baby shots, and these ones turned out really well. I especially like the black and white photo of Landry with her mama. Such a sweet picture that highlights that special love between mother and daughter. Don’t the two of them look so good together?

I also love the little white outfit Landry wore. It’s so pretty, and the decorative lacework at the top gives it an elegant touch that is somewhat unusual in newborn photography, but turned out lovely. She is going to be a beauty when she grows up.

It was wonderful to see this family again in my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon. I loved meeting Jackson again and seeing what a sweet and handsome little boy he is growing into, and I’m confident Landry will be just as sweet and gorgeous! (She already is, right?) I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—being a newborn photographer is the best!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: Hattie is ONE!

Hattie’s mom, Shanna, brought her in last month for a one year birthday cake smash photography session. Shanna (yes, her name is both spelled and pronounced the same as mine!) wanted to do a strawberry theme to go along with the banner and adorable outfit she had made for Hattie. What a talented lady! Looks like when it comes to the sewing machine she is a force to be reckoned with! Both the outfit and the banner were so cute and I was more than willing to figure out something a little different to match.

Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Milk bath with Kelsey

Kelsey came in for a milk bath maternity photography session last month. She was expecting a little boy in early November. Needless to say, he is here now! I did his Fresh 48 photos in the hospital shortly after he was born, and will be doing his newborn photos as well. He’s such a sweetheart! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog   for his pictures!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 6-month with Knox

It was so much fun to see Knox again last month for his six month mini baby photography session! I’ve been the Eugene, Oregon photographer for this family for a little while now, and I have so enjoyed getting to know them! I did Knox’s newborn photos when he first arrived, as well as his mom’s maternity pictures when she was pregnant with him, and they are just a fantastic family to work with.
