Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Finlee!

Elizabeth and Elijah brought adorable Finlee for her newborn photos in late July. Now that the cold weather is kicking in I’m enjoying the process of going back over some of my summer sessions! Of course, it’s always nice and warm in my Eugene, Oregon newborn photography studio, so come on in for baby pictures and all the warm and cozy vibes!

Finlee was so cute and the best cheeks! So soft and chubby. 😊 She was just perfect for me and slept like an angel through her newborn photography session.

We decided on a beautiful pink and gray color combo that turned out so pretty! As well as beanbag poses and swaddles, we also used a couple of props: my antique pram and a soft little heart—just the right size for baby toes to hold! Mom and Dad both decided to join in for some baby and family pictures, which I absolutely loved! Special portraits like these are the kind of thing the whole family will treasure for years to come.

Although many people think of putting baby pictures in an album or using them as home décor (both of which are fantastic ideas, by the way!) newborn photos also make amazing gifts for family members. I offer several display options that are perfect for gifting. With the holidays coming up, be sure to ask about giftable baby photo options! I’d be happy to show you the different choices and help you pick out the perfect present to give to grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc. Elizabeth and Elijah ordered the antique pram photo on a wooden circle for Elizabeth’s grandmother. What a perfect gift for a great-grandma! I’m sure she loved it!

Finlee’s newborn photography session couldn’t have gone better. She really was a sweetheart and it was great to spend some time with her and her parents, making and capturing great memories together!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: Hattie is ONE!

Hattie’s mom, Shanna, brought her in last month for a one year birthday cake smash photography session. Shanna (yes, her name is both spelled and pronounced the same as mine!) wanted to do a strawberry theme to go along with the banner and adorable outfit she had made for Hattie. What a talented lady! Looks like when it comes to the sewing machine she is a force to be reckoned with! Both the outfit and the banner were so cute and I was more than willing to figure out something a little different to match.

Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer: Milk bath with Kelsey

Kelsey came in for a milk bath maternity photography session last month. She was expecting a little boy in early November. Needless to say, he is here now! I did his Fresh 48 photos in the hospital shortly after he was born, and will be doing his newborn photos as well. He’s such a sweetheart! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog   for his pictures!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 6-month milestone session with Lily

Oh my goodness, you are going to love the photos of this sweet baby girl! What an angel face! Audrey and Daniel brought Lily to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio at the end of March for her 6-month milestone photography session. Most of the 6-month-olds I photograph are little ones I took pictures of as newborns, but Lily and her parents were first-time clients. It was wonderful to meet them. And we had so much fun together! I usually set aside an hour for milestone sessions, but I very rarely use the whole time with 6-month-olds because they tend to get tired by about the 40 minute mark. Not Lily! She was sweet-faced and smiley the entire hour. I didn’t even want to stop at that point because we were having such a good time. And honestly, she was probably one of the most gorgeous, photogenic babies I’ve ever photographed. She seriously has the most perfect little face! She loved the camera, and the camera definitely loved her! Because Lily was so happy and cooperative, we got to
