I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I love having the opportunity to reflect each year on the many things I have to be thankful for, and, as always, my career as a newborn photographer makes the list! I’m so lucky to have a job I enjoy, and one that allows me to use my passion for photography every day. And since we’re talking about things we’re grateful for, it seems only appropriate to mention that I’m so glad I got to have Nicco in my studio last month!

Please join me in welcoming Harrison—a sweet little guy I had the chance to photograph last month, and an absolutely adorable photography subject! 

This handsome little man is Ursa, and we got some great pictures with him that I’m very excited to show you!

Swetha and Vivek brought their beautiful little boy, Vivaansh, in to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon to see me in early October. He is such a handsome little guy, and I can’t wait to share his photos with all of you!

I’m so excited to introduce all of you to Landon! This sweet little man was brought into my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month for a newborn photography session. He was accompanied by his parents, Justin and Melissa, and his big sister Hadley, and we had a great session together.

Wow! September was a busy month for me! It was time for my fall mini sessions, which are always tons of fun, but a lot of work as well.  I worked with twelve fantastic families for this batch of mini family photography sessions, doing two sessions a night for six nights until we got it all wrapped up by the first weekend in October. I don’t like scheduling outdoor sessions too far in advance after that because you never know what the weather is going to be like. Actually, let me rephrase that: you usually know exactly what the weather is going to be like…and it isn’t exactly a photographer's dream.

Happy birthday, Holland! This little lady is one year old now, and I was so happy to see her in my studio again to celebrate her special day. 

This beautiful little lady is Teagan, and I’m extra excited to introduce her to you because I had to wait an extra long time to welcome her to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon .  Teagan was a little too comfortable in mama’s tummy and wasn’t sure she wanted to leave such a cozy spot for the big world outside. It was three weeks after her due date before she finally decided to brave the journey and meet us all, but we’re so glad she did! (Especially her mom, I’m sure!) Better late than never, right? And Teagan was well worth waiting for. 

I did this maternity photography session back in September for Swetha and Vivek. Their son Reyaansh came too, and we had a very nice session at the Zumwalt Park area of Fern Ridge. Zumwalt Park is a very scenic, peaceful spot, and popular with many of my maternity clients.
