Do you remember back in March I posted about Heather’s maternity session? She and Dan were the couple with four gorgeous girls who
were finally expecting a boy. Well, guess what? Here he is! Little Enzo came
into my photography studio in Eugene,
Oregon last month with his parents and big sisters for his newborn photography session, and we had
such a great time together!
Enzo is such a cutie! He loves being swaddled and held, and
of course, everyone was happy to oblige. It’s impossible not to want to cuddle
such a bundle of sweetness, and I have a feeling that Heather and Dan might
have to come up with some sort of “snuggle schedule” at home so everyone gets
their fair share! The girls are absolutely in love with their baby brother and
they are all so good with him. Dan and Heather certainly have plenty of willing
hands to help to raise their new little guy!
We used a similar color scheme with Enzo’s newborn photography session that we did
for his mom’s maternity pictures, with lots of gray and blue, although we added
a splash of black and leaned more towards robin’s egg blue rather than navy for
Enzo, which I think looks so great with his light hair. He is sure a handsome
young man, and he even gave me a sweet, sleepy smile that makes him look more
adorable than ever. Look at that tiny tongue sticking out!
Color wasn’t the only throwback to Heather’s maternity session
that we incorporated: We also pulled out the same ivory colored chair that we
used for her earlier pictures, and made sure to get her whole family
surrounding her and Enzo as they sat in it, just like we did a couple of months
ago, before any of us had met Enzo yet!
Heather ordered five beautiful canvases from this session as
well as an album, and she recently sent me pictures of the canvases hanging in
Enzo’s room. I love how they turned out, and it was so fun for me to see them
where I know they’ll be enjoyed by Enzo and his family. As a Eugene, Oregon photographer, I’m
delighted that I got to meet this family and help them welcome the newest
member into their circle. They are great people and Enzo couldn’t be in better
hands.
We used quite a few different props and outfits during Enzo’s
newborn photography session, and he
was so good about it. His sisters, who are all so fun and well-behaved, have apparently
already set the example for him. He was a great sleeper for me, and I love those
perfect round cheeks and his serious expression!
What a treat to have this amazing family in my studio again!
They are so easy to photograph, and just a delight to be around. I’m so excited
that they have this little boy in their lives, and I wish them every happiness as
they continue this great adventure together!
