Kelsey came in for a milk bath maternity photography session last month. She was expecting a little boy in early November. Needless to say, he is here now! I did his Fresh 48 photos in the hospital shortly after he was born, and will be doing his newborn photos as well. He’s such a sweetheart! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog   for his pictures!

Miranda and Cody came to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon last month with their two beautiful children: big sister Monroe and new baby Maverick. Both of the kiddos did spectacularly well, and the session couldn’t have gone smoother. I loved the photos I was able to get of this sweet family and its newest member. Enjoy!

Loved having this beautiful baby girl in my studio! Little Isabel was such a sweetheart and it was a pleasure to do her newborn photography session. Her parents, Brooke and John, made the drive over from Florence on the Oregon coast, about an hour away from my Eugene, Oregon photography studio . Lots of babies sleep exceptionally well in the car, and Isabel was one who is lulled to sleep by the car engine and gentle rocking motion. Because of her extended nap during the drive, she was wide awake at the beginning of our session. It was fun to get some wakeful shots while she watched me. She wasn’t fussy at all, and seemed very content being wrapped up, so rather than disturb her I went with it. I just love those beautiful, baby-gray eyes! 

It was so great to see Betty Lou, Shawn, big sister Josie, and the twins again! I have gotten to know this family really well over the last several months. It’s been wonderful to spend time with them as I did Betty Lou’s maternity session and then multiple sessions for the twins, including Fresh 48, newborn, three-month milestone, and six-month milestone. Last month it was time for another baby photography session—nine months! My goodness they have gotten big, and I can’t wait to share their pictures with you!

It was wonderful to see this family again—this time for a maternity photography session. I have done several photo shoots with them in the past for milestones, birthdays, and Christmas and they are always so much fun to work with. It was great to spend time with Amber, Grant, and Goldie as they get ready to welcome a new baby girl to the family. 

Ashley, Chris, and big brother Carter brought their new twin boys in to see me for a newborn photography session last month. They live in Albany (about forty-five minutes from my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon ) so I was particularly glad they were able to make the drive. It’s not easy to travel with one newborn, let alone two, but I loved having them in the studio. 

This is my nephew Harrison! Is he not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? This is the first little boy in our family, so we all adore him and he is getting spoiled for sure. I was so glad my sister Lea and her boyfriend Nick were able to make it down to my photography studio in Eugene, Oregon . It’s a four and a half hour drive from where they live on the Washington coast, so no easy feat with a newborn, but they made it happen. I loved the couple of days we were able to spend together, and had such fun giving Harrison a bit more auntie love. 

I can’t believe it has already been a year since I did this cutie’s newborn session! Where does the time go? Evelyn came in for her one year baby photography session at the end of September with her parents, Andrew and Samantha. I was so happy to see all of them again. Evelyn was absolutely adorable—all smiles and totally up for a photo session. Yay! No need to coax this girl to smile! She seemed to know exactly what I was doing with the camera and loving it. She has got the cutest little face too, and boundless energy! We had a great time together.

I chose to do my fall mini sessions on select evenings in September and early October this year. As a Eugene, Oregon photographer , my seasonal mini sessions are something I look forward to. They’re very popular with my clients, and it’s a great chance for me to see some of my favorite people again and catch up with how things are going. I always enjoy seeing these returning families and getting to photograph them in a beautiful outdoor setting.
