Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Wyatt!

You know how I was saying a few weeks ago that I couldn’t wait for summer? Well, it took its time coming, but it’s here now with a vengeance! These hot days are just crazy. I’m not complaining though. Summer doesn’t tend to last too long here in Eugene, so I’ll take all the sunshine I can get before the rain sets in again. Little Wyatt came to the studio in the middle of June, about a month before summer really got its boots on. He was so adorable and I can’t wait to share a few of his photos with you. You’re going to love them! The whole family was able to join us for this newborn photography session: Parents Brittany and Andy, and big sister Kylie all wanted to be in on the fun. It’s great when the whole family can be there for baby pictures. It’s the perfect time to get an updated family shot showcasing the newly expanded clan, and sibling with newborn pictures are the best! Speaking of which, yes—we definitely got some great pictures of Kylie and her new baby brother. She did ...

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Hazlee!

Would you just look at this cutie? What a doll! Hannah and Jeremiah brought their new baby girl Hazlee to see me near the beginning of June for a newborn photography session. She was absolutely adorable and of course I fell in love with her right off the bat. I’m sure you will too once you’ve seen these baby pictures! Enjoy!

Eugene, Oregon baby photographer: 3-month session with Beau

Katie and Greg brought adorable Beau to my photography studio in early June for his three-month baby photography session. We had actually scheduled this as a newborn session originally, but Beau arrived early and had to spend some time in the NICU before he was strong enough to come home. By the time he was released from the NICU I wasn’t able to photograph him because I had closed my studio temporarily to comply with COVID shutdowns and keep my clients safe. I was so sad that I wasn’t able to photograph him as a newborn, but delighted that his parents still wanted to do the session—just a bit later than we’d planned.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Kai!

This was the second newborn photography session I did after reopening my Eugene, Oregon photography studio in May. Kai was the cutest little thing! His parents, Pauline and Christopher, were super excited that I was able to get Kai in—and right at the two-week mark! Talk about things falling into place.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Evan!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer weather as much as I am! It’s been great to finally have some sunshine and warmth here in Eugene. Seems like summer was a long time coming this year, but I’m glad it’s here now. Time for fresh berries, lake trips, and of course, more amazing newborn photos!

Eugene, Oregon baby and child photographer: Spring Minis 2020

My spring minis were the last photo sessions I did before I closed my studio temporarily due to COVID-19. It feels like such a long time ago now with everything that’s happened since then. I’m so grateful to be able to have my studio open to clients again.

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Jamison!

Bryn and Joshua brought their sweet rainbow baby to my studio in late February for a newborn photography session. They had booked a photo shoot with me in the past and I was heartbroken for them when we had to cancel due to the loss of their baby. As a loss mom myself, I know how hard that is and it hurt my heart that they were going through something so difficult. Knowing that piece of their story, I was thrilled when they contacted me again to let me know they were expecting. It was so special being able to welcome Jamison to my studio. He’s a beautiful little boy!

Eugene, Oregon newborn photographer: Welcome Ash!

I was so excited when Tessa and Richard booked another newborn photography session with me back in February. I had photographed their older son, Aiden, as a newborn, and also did Tessa’s maternity pictures when she was pregnant with him. That was almost four years ago now, so it was great to hear from them again and learn that they were expecting another addition to the family. There are so many wonderful things about being a Eugene, Oregon photographer , one of which is being able to see repeat clients over the years and to watch their families grow.
